The Physical & Mental Connection (Body/Mind)
By Tim Gross - Internet Business Blog | January 17, 2007
I just got back from the gym, and I feel great. My head is clear, I’m relaxed, focused, and stress-free. I feel like I can conquer the world.
And that’s the point - Everybody knows that your attitude, confidence, and enthusiasm will make or break your success… That it’s all in your mind.
What less people realize is how your body affects your mind. Exercising releases endorphins that make you feel good. Getting your blood pumping literally “gets your blood pumping”, wakes you up, gives you energy. Increased blood flow to the brain helps you think clearer and be more effective.
The first “million dollar sales letter” I wrote was written in the middle of a very rigorous exercise program I was involved in that got me in the best shape of my life. I started waking up in the morning without feeling groggy. I had an unbelievable amount of energy and focus. I felt good.
…As it turns out, feeling good helps you make money. The better shape I’m in physically, the more productive I am in my business. So if you think you’re too busy trying to make money to exercise and take care of yourself, think again. See you at the gym -and at the bank!
