Making YouTube Videos Interactive And Increasing Clickthroughs
By Tim Gross - Internet Business Blog |
Do you want to make your YouTube videos to get more clickthroughs and to be more effective for you?
If you haven’t noticed that YouTube Videos can now be posted with clickable links, check out this video for a fun example of what can be done with it. It’s called “Interactive Hot Tub Girl”.
The same concept can be applied to a step-by-step training series, or just to have clickable links pop up to direct viewers to your related website content.
Done correctly, having direct links pop up during your YouTube videos can get much, much higher clickthrough rates than just a passive link or prompt at the end.

Hi Tim -
Yes YouTube is beginning to do some of this. Maybe some of your readers, in addition, want a more capable experience if they are posting their videos to their own sites. Please have a look at how we do it at Veeple - The complete video web service that makes video clickable.
Best,
Scott
